 Programme of EBRA Events for Summer 2019

Saturday 6th April at 7pm A talk on the’Poison Pen letter writer of Western Road’ + AGM
Norfolk Bowls Clubhouse, Sea Front, Littlehampton

 We will be providing some bread , cheese and nibbles and the Clubhouse bar will be open for the purchase of drinks, at very reasonable prices.

We will be incorporating our AGM; we promise this should not take long. If you have any issues you wish to raise at the AGM, please drop a note, addressed to EBRA, into 47/49 Western Road. The Agenda will be circulated nearer the date.

A chance to catch up with neighbours and to discuss local issues- don’t miss it.

Friday 17th May at 7pm Quiz Night
The Lifestyle in the Gardens Cafe,Norfolk Gardens Park, South Terrace, Littlehampton ( By the Tennis Courts)

Once again the Lifestyle in the Gardens Cafe have kindly agreed to host our Quiz and they will be providing food, and you cantering your own wine/etc. Details and cost nearer the date.   Mike Webber will again be our quiz master.

Saturday 22nd June 2pm -4pm Fair in the Square

A Fair in Norfolk Place. Stalls, games, bric-a-brac and books. If you have any books or bric-a-brac you wish to donate contact a member of the committee nearer the date and we will take it off your hands.

Sunday 28th July  3pm – 5pm Pimms and Nibbles in the garden at 3 South Terrace
A social gathering, another chance to catch up with neighbours over a glass. No charge but donations welcome.

Saturday 17th  August Lunch time BBQ in South Passage, Starts at Noon
For the last two years our Midday BBQ has been such a success that we are holding it at the same time this year. The usual arrangement, you bring along some food and wine and we provide the BBQ to cook it on. Always a great social event. It went on till nearly 7pm last year with people chatting over a few glasses of wine. A great way to spend a summer afternoon.

Saturday 28th September, 7pm  A Skittles Match against Norfolk Bowls Club

at the Norfolk Bowls Clubhouse in Norfolk Gardens Park

This was a roaring success last year and the Bowls club have kindly agreed to a repeat match. We will need to field 20 players in five teams of four. There will be a best team prize and a best individual score prize.  A supper will be provided followed by a knock out competition with a prize for the last person standing.  All for just £3 a head, with drinks from the bar at very good prices.  Put the date in your diary now, it will be a cracking evening.

Saturday 16th November 10.30am to 12.30pm Coffee Morning at 47/49 Western Road
Another social gathering with coffee, cakes, mince pies and a Raffle. A great way to pass a morning.

Friday 13th December 7pm Carols in the Square

An hour of carols with hot mulled wine, hot chocolate and mince pies at half time. Don’t miss it, bring the family.
Last year some 80 residents turned up and we ate our way through a lot mince pies! A great way to start Christmas.

    I would like to thank you for a great evening. Postcards !! Who would have thought they could be so very interesting. History lessons like this should be used in school. Adrian and Judy
